Working across our beautiful planets sets everything in perspective. How animals manage to adapt in different environments or how humans and animals can co-exist in some places flawlessly while on other places their are huge difficulties.

One of my favorite places has been Slovenia and the beautiful forests there. Can’t wait to spend some more time there in 2025.

Exciting but very exhausting sometimes. High temperatures, high humidity, heavy gear and a tough environment can be truly exhausting sometimes. But usually there is a reward for all the hard work. Not the best quality but still incredible to see them in real and film them! Btw the bird is called red capped manakin.

[LYNX PARDINUS] - Iberian Lynx

This Lynx is an own species living in Spain and Portugal and extremely rare. They have a round skull typical of cats and a pronounced whisker five to eight centimetres long. Iberian lynxes have the stubby tail characteristic of lynxes, although the function or use of this atypical shape is unclear. At the ends of the small, triangular ears are three centimetre long brush hairs, which influence the animals‘ hearing and localisation abilities.
