On Boat Tours Morning and evening sessions along the rivers — multiple kingfisher species, caymans, herons, buzzards, hummingbirds, toucans, aras, and many more encounters. In Photo Hides King vultures, bats, hummingbirds, and optionally frogs. Up-close access to some of the most stunning animals in the world — intimate and undisturbed. Jungle Experience Howler monkeys, woodpeckers, owls, and the sounds of the living forest. Nightwalks possible. High-promise locations with experienced local guides — the chances for unique encounters are excellent. What to bring with Yourself — curiosity and a passion for wildlife is all the mindset you need. Camera gear — any level welcome. Not sure what to bring? Ask me directly, I’ll help you prepare. Proper clothing — light, breathable, muted colors. I’ll send a full prep list after booking. Vaccinations & travel insurance — please check and arrange these yourself before the trip. Your own flights — not included in the package (prices vary too much). Arrive at San José (SJO). No experience needed No exhausting hikes. The trip is comfortable and designed for all experience levels. I will support you from the very beginning — before, during, and after. Location & Schedule Where are we heading? Two villages in the northern part of Costa Rica — less touristic, less crowded, pure wilderness. Working closely with multiple experienced local guides, at least 2 trips per day: mornings and midday to evening. Some days we’ll go for a nightwalk and photograph bats. The trip is comparetively comfortable – no long exhausting hikes. Pickup · San José Airport Around 05:00 AM. Best to arrive one or two days early and stay close to the airport.
