[HARPIA HARPYJA] - Harpy Eagle
This special majestic bird lives in Middle- and South America and sadly counts to the endangered species.
They’re not only very big with a length from 89 to 110 cm, the wings can be much longer with a wing span up to 2 meters. The bird of prey has also long collars with 7 cm. The genders can be very different especially in weight. The males are lighter with 4 to 4,8 kg, the females on the other hand can weight up to 9 kg.

Exciting but very exhausting sometimes. High temperatures, high humidity, heavy gear and a tough environment can be truly exhausting sometimes. But usually there is a reward for all the hard work. Not the best quality but still incredible to see them in real and film them! Btw the bird is called red capped manakin.
