Costa Rica is one of the most biodiverse places on our planet. With a huge variety of animals, plants and landscapes, it’s not only a dream for every photographer or filmmaker — but for everyone who enjoys being in nature.
This trip is very special to me. The experience of exploring the wildlife of Costa Rica itself is absolutely unique. The desire of sharing both this experience and the passion for my profession gives you now the opportunity to enjoy pure wildlife and be part of this project. 9 days and 7 full wildlife days together.
Morning and evening sessions along the rivers — multiple kingfisher species, caymans, herons, buzzards, hummingbirds, toucans, aras, and many more encounters.
King vultures, bats, hummingbirds, and optionally frogs. Up-close access to some of the most stunning animals in the world — intimate and undisturbed.
Howler monkeys, woodpeckers, owls, and the sounds of the living forest. Nightwalks possible. High-promise locations with experienced local guides — the chances for unique encounters are excellent.
No exhausting hikes. The trip is comfortable and designed for all experience levels. I will support you from the very beginning — before, during, and after.
Two villages in the northern part of Costa Rica — less touristic, less crowded, pure wilderness. Working closely with multiple experienced local guides, at least 2 trips per day: mornings and midday to evening.
Some days we’ll go for a nightwalk and photograph bats. The trip is comparetively comfortable – no long exhausting hikes.

Sasan Amir acts solely as the organizer of the photography workshop experience. Accommodation, transportation, meals and local activities are provided and operated by independent local partners in Costa Rica.
For an additional 450€, single rooms are also available.
